Chlorine Feeder For Water Treatment


The picture above is a chlorine feeder for water disinfection, it is install along water flow line from Bore-hole to the chemical reaction tank, this type of chlorine feeder makes dosing of chlorine easy, instead of climbing tank to pour chlorine manually, the chlorine will just be added into this feeder as water passes through, the dissolved chlorine is gradually added depending on the setting, that is permissible volume allowed. One of the advantage of this chlorine feeder is that it doesn't use electricity unlike the normal dosing pumps, and also it can make use of either chlorine granules or tablets.

Back Washing Of Water Treatment Modules

Back Washing is a term used in water treatment to describe the process by which trapped or filtered contaminants in water during water treatment process are discharge or remove from the water treatment module. Figure 1 below shows a mini water treatment module, while figure 2 below shows a large pressure water treatment module( A Pressure Sand Filter Tank) Fig. 1. Treatment Module Fig. 2.
